Independent academic publishing in law
Standard Law Academic publishes the Acta journals: independent, international reviews of criminal, private, and administrative law. The journals are in preparation and will publish open access, online, with no APC at present.
The portfolio
Each journal has its own scope, editorial arrangements, and scholarly community. They share a commitment to independent editing, careful review, and open access.
刑法学报

行政法学报
Administrative law doctrine, procedure and litigation, regulation and governance, and comparative public law.
The press
Standard Law Academic is the academic publishing programme of Standard Law.
The press publishes the Acta journals as independent, international reviews. It provides publishing services—production, hosting, metadata, and the practical support of an editorial office—while editorial decisions remain with each journal’s editors.
The programme is being built deliberately and slowly. The journals are in preparation, no issue has yet been published, and no editorial names, metrics, or indexing claims are presented before they can be verified.

How we publish
The press is organised around a small number of commitments. They describe how the journals are being built, not achievements already claimed.
Editors decide what is published. The operator provides publishing services and does not direct editorial judgment.
Review arrangements are being settled journal by journal and will be published before submissions open.
Every journal will publish online, openly, with no article processing charge at present.
Metadata and preservation planning from the first issue. No indexing or metric is claimed before verification.
Publishing model
The Acta journals will publish open access, online, with no article processing charge at present. Each journal sets its own scope, editorial team, and review arrangements.
Any change to the publication model or to charges will be published clearly on the relevant journal site before it takes effect.
